Purpose of the Service

Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) Consultancy is a holistic service offered to ensure that businesses systematically manage their environmental and social impacts and create a structure that complies with national legislation and the requirements of international financial institutions (IFC, EBRD, AIIB).

Scope of Service

• Assessment of the current E&S management structure, organization and process maturity
• Preparation of institution-specific Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP)
• Risk assessment: environmental impacts, social risks, labor management, working conditions, societal impact, contractor management
• Analysis of legal compliance matrix, requirements, permits and audit history
• Establishment of a stakeholder engagement plan (SEP) and complaint mechanism structure
• Development of emergency preparedness, pollution control, energy and resource efficiency plans
• Monitoring program of environmental parameters (noise, emissions, water, waste, chemical management)
• Establishing policies and procedures for social elements (working conditions, supply chain, housing conditions, etc.)
• Defining contractor HSE requirements and structuring field applications
• Preparing an ESG-compliant reporting infrastructure
• Establishment of internal audit mechanisms, performance monitoring indicators (KPIs) and management review processes
