Purpose of the Service
Community Health and Safety Risk Management Consultancy is a comprehensive professional service offered to assess and manage the health, safety and socioeconomic impacts that business activities may have on surrounding communities.
Scope of Service
• Identifying community health and safety impacts: noise, air quality, traffic, waste, risky activities
• Determination of sensitive receptors (schools, residences, hospitals, ecosystems, etc.) around the facility and project
• Assessment of the effects of chemical, biological and physical hazards on society
• Analysis of project-related traffic/increased traffic risks and preparation of road safety management plans
• Evaluation of fire, explosion, hazardous material leakage, process safety and emergency scenarios from a public perspective
• Establishing community engagement plans, warning systems and risk communication tools
• Establishing community information mechanisms in line with the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP)
• Complaint Management Mechanism (GRM) design and implementation support
• Community vulnerability analysis and development of mitigation plans for high-risk activities
• Preparation of the Community Health & Safety Plan (TSH Management Plan) in accordance with international financial institutions.

Method
Consultancy is carried out through field investigations, community profile analysis, evaluation of environmental data, stakeholder interviews, examination of accident scenarios and comparative analysis according to international requirements.
Advisory Staff
The service is carried out by environmental engineers, public health experts, process safety experts, road safety experts, social experts, and Meganova consultants familiar with financial institution standards. Public health experts, chemists, or noise/air modeling experts are also involved when necessary.
