Purpose of Audit

A Technical Safety Audit aims to holistically assess the structural, mechanical, and electrical integrity of equipment, processes, and infrastructure used in industrial facilities to ensure their safe and sustainable operation. The audit strengthens operational reliability and maintenance efficiency by identifying critical technical hazards that pose a risk of failure, damage, loss, and accidents at an early stage.

Scope of Audit

• Integrity control of pressure vessels, tanks, pipelines and mechanical equipment
• Inspection of structural elements, platforms, stairs and anchor points
• Electrical protection, grounding, panel and wiring safety checks
• The effectiveness of LOTO, permit-to-work, care & isolation practices
• Technical conformity of sensors, valves, control elements and automation equipment
• Review of registration, testing, maintenance and calibration documents
• Analysis of technical failures, failure history and recurring events
• Review of spare parts, equipment labeling and traceability systems
• Assessment of long-term equipment reliability and maintenance strategy

Method and Reporting

The audit is conducted through a site inspection, interviews with technical and maintenance teams, document control, and risk classification. Findings are presented in the form of a photo-supported technical report, a non-conformance and risk matrix, and a prioritized action plan.

Audit Period

It varies depending on the size of the facility, the number of equipment and the complexity of the process.

Which Organizations Is It For?

It is suitable for production facilities, cement, energy, food, chemistry, mining, petrochemistry, infrastructure businesses, production lines and all industrial establishments with high maintenance/operation intensity.

Auditor Staff

The audit is conducted by Meganova's technical auditors, comprised of mechanical, electrical, structural, and process safety experts. Sector-specific experts (e.g., pressure vessels, automation, structural engineering) are also included as needed.

Reference Standards

ISO 45001, ISO 55001, EN 13445, ASME Sec. VIII, API 570, relevant national regulations
