BASIC LEVEL SCAFFOLDING SAFETY

The Goal of Education
This training aims to ensure worker safety during scaffolding installation, use, and dismantling, correctly implement technical requirements, and prevent workplace accidents. Participants will gain fundamental knowledge and awareness of scaffolding inspection, stability, and load bearing.

Program Content
• Scaffold types, classifications and purposes
• Risks of falling, tipping over and falling materials
• Site assessment before scaffolding installation
• Material selection, fasteners and load capacity
• Installation, use and dismantling procedures
• Platform, guardrail, access and fall arrest systems
• Daily checklists and maintenance practices
• Scaffold labeling and authorization processes
• Legislative requirements and responsibilities
• Case studies and good practice examples

Duration of Education
1 day (8 hours)

Reference Standards
Occupational Health and Safety Regulation in Construction Works, EN 12810 series, TS EN 1004, ISO 45001

Education Method
The training is conducted using theoretical explanations, visual case studies, and field application examples. Participants practice appropriate installation and inspection steps through simulations.

Certificate
At the end of the program, a short evaluation is made and successful participants are given a Certificate of Participation.

Necessary Preliminary Information
There are no special prerequisites for participating in the training.

Number of Participants
Maximum of 12 people per group.

Participant Profile
Field workers, site managers, scaffolding installation team, OHS experts and inspection personnel.

Instructor
Training is provided by experienced experts in occupational health and safety in construction work, working at heights and equipment inspection.
