The Goal of Education
This training aims to understand the environmental and social performance requirements of international financial institutions (IFC, EBRD, ADB, etc.) and develop project management plans that comply with these standards. Participants will learn about risk, impact, and stakeholder management processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Program Content
• Environmental management framework in internationally financed projects
• IFC Performance Standards and EBRD PR system
• Structure and relationship of PS1–PS8 and ESR1–ESR10 standards
• Environmental and social risk assessment (ESDD, ESAP)
• Stakeholder engagement and complaint mechanisms
• Community health, safety and security (PS4/PR4)
• Labor, working conditions and supply chain management (PS2/ESR2)
• Cultural heritage and resettlement processes
• Bank reporting requirements and audit examples
• Real project case studies
Duration of Education
2 days (16 hours)
Reference Standards
IFC Performance Standards, EBRD ESRs, Equator Principles
Education Method
The training utilizes case studies, group work, and interactive presentations based on real project examples. Participants have the opportunity to apply the standard requirements to an investment project.
Certificate
Participants who complete the training are given a Certificate of Participation.
Necessary Preliminary Information
Basic knowledge of environmental and OHS management systems is recommended but not required.
Number of Participants
Maximum 15 people per group.

It is suitable for project managers, environmental and social experts, engineers, consultants and technical staff working in investment projects.
Instructor
The training is provided by instructors who have worked in internationally funded projects .
